The patch just came out yesterday. You'll just have to use your ORIGINAL CD until a crack is made.

or maybe you can use daemon tools virtual drive diablo copy protections is securom 3 (old and useless nowdays)

EDIT: I reinstalled this game to test the new patch and despite the protected executable was updated to securom 5 the emulation still works

just do this:

-install the game, choose complete instalation,
-make an image with alcohol and when the image is reaching to 110 mb choose cancel , the program will ask to delete choose no to conserve it,
- copy de .mpq files from the diablo play disk to diablo folder
-mount the image with alcohol and should works

I haven't prove this on Diablo 2LoD, only on the original Diablo 2, I don't have the expansion but I think should works too

OFFTOPiC : I started the game with this patch and restarted the first level and seems some things were changed on it, the out the camp is not to on the right side of the camp crossing the bridge (the bridge is no more) now is on the left side on the other side of the camp, also there more ememies, the distribution of the maps is changed , too I can't find cave you have to clean of mosters (the first mission thar has to be done in the game), also the map were improved, it seems like with this patch blizzard made a certain remake of Diablo 2

Do NOT use Storm.dll from that zip file. Return old storm.dll if u have it, if u don't then reinstall.

hey was just wondering about that file...do i need to move the original game.exe file to a backup folder and rename the game_crk to just game? or do i leave them both in the d2 folder. and do i run the game.exe the game_crk.exe or the d2loader? i tried running the d2loader and it errors a few times then it goes into the game. does it always do that?

I just copied both files dloader.exe and the game_crk and clicked on the the dloader.exe instead of the original diablo2 exe and worked I don't have any error messages and I don't renamed them left them as it

NOTE--- I DO NOT HAVE D2 EXPANSION INSTALLED!

cans omeone help me with this? I couldnt install diablo 2 lod b/c it saids a read disc error so this is why im trying to get cd crack but i do own a legal copy, so i thought if i dl this crack i can just put my cdkey in it and itd work. I dled both of those things and i put the game_crk and diablo2lod icon thing in my d2 folder and i click on both yet nothing comes up but some error when i click on the game_crk file which says The ordinal 10205 could not be located in the dynamic link library d2win.dll.
HELP ME PLEASE!

my aim is bleedthefreakfl just for if someone wants to explain it to me step by step on aim it would be very helpful thanks

The crack provided has some ..unexpected results for me:

First of all, i followed the instructions correctly, and when I run game.exe my computer seems to 'work' for a little bit, then just stop and nothing at all comes up.

If I run the Diablo II thing (with the awesome icon for the game), It asks me to put in the cd.. and I can click cancel or retry.

If i run the dloader.exe thing... It has the same results as game.exe.. it seems to work for a little bit, then ..nothing. It just stops.

Any help??

Normally I wouldn't even need this, but my cd drive is being dumb, and my cd is a tab bit scratched up so it works like 70% of the time.

Thanks for providing quality cracks, even if this one didn't work for me (yet) =)
