Hey all ^_^
Im trying to get into learning graphics design properly, I know basics of it but want to learn the more advanced stuff.
But first I need to decide on which program to use. I find Fireworks MX the easiest although PSP is suppose to be easier but not as powerful as Photoshop.
So I want something quite easy to learn using, but something which is powerful and can be used for good results.
So which program would you all recommend?
Thank you soo much ^_^
Photoshop is probably what you will find is used most often. I would suggest that.

Photoshop indeed. I used Paint Shop Pro before, but I found Photoshop CS has more useful things to me. It depends on what you're planning to do. I mainly use photoshop to create game textures, which it is an excellent program for

Photoshop is all you need. I am in my last semester in graphic arts. Photoshop and Illustrator are the two programs you need for any graphics that are 2D and semi 3D. There are a ton of extras on Photoshop that many people don't know about. Those things seperate the professionals who know the program from the noobs.
If you want the best, go with Adobe products for graphics (and if you want full 3D - go with 3D Studio Max 7 as well :) )

-Luke if u have any questions at all holler at me. I am a private Graphic art teacher. I can cover 3D studio Max, Macromedia Flash, Photoshop, Bryce, Fractal software, Illustrator, and Poser. Dont be shy, I like the attention.

Hey! a brother in arms :)
I am finishing up at Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at Indianapolis. A teacher eh? I thought about teaching (I did a little mentoring on the side here), but decided that I'd need some business experience first.
How is Poser. I've never used it and am curious about it. Ever use AutoCad software?
