Media player help

Hey guys whenever I watch a wmw or avi files in my Windows media player the colors are screwed up it 's too bright but when i play the same movie in BS Player it's fine.I reinstaled my codecs(Ace mega Codec pack) but nothing.What shoul i do?

maybe you should sniff around in the options i personally use DivX player for movie's and i'm fine with that so i have little knowlegde on the options of Windows Media player.

What version of WMP do you have? I recommend that you install WMP 10. Get it from here (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download).

I have WMP 10 and it does the same thing about dvd movies too in my Cyber Link Power DVD 5

Uninstall that codec pack you have and try this (http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm) one. If I have any problems with my codecs I install this and everything is fine, if it still does it after this, your problem definetly isn't your codecs. ;)

Or try VLC Player, it can handle all types of movies without no codec needed.
