Hey Guys,
Ok, so I have a legit CD Key for Generals Zero Hour. I don't like my cd drives, so I would rather not use them. We all know that in order to play Generals online without a CD, you have to use a fixed image. So I got one of the fixed images online, and it seemed to be working fine. This was, until about 10-30 seconds after I joined any game (Skirmish Solo, Multiplayer Online) Every Unit I had would just self-destruct and I would lose. It was almost like I was surrendering. I am running Zero Hour 1.04. The game only does this when I use the fixed Image.
My System Specs:
Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2800+ Barton Core
Motherboard: ASUS A7N8X with newest BIOS flash
RAM: 1 GB PNY Dual Channel DDR400
Video: Sapphire ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128 MB
Sound: Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer
Hard Drive 1: 40 GB Western Digital With Windows XP Pro on it
Hard Drive 2: 200 GB Extra Storage (has Generals installed on it)
Thermaltake 450W Power Supply
Case is cooled by two 120 mm fans sucking out on the side, and a 80mm CPU Fan / heat sink (Thermaltake). Power Supply Has two 80mm fans on a potentiometer.
Any help would be appreciated, I didnt see a fixed image online for the US 1.04 version of Zero Hour and I would rather not take up another 700MB to store an image of the entire disk.
