need a renaming program that can handle loads of files...

I got loads of files that got identical extra things in their name for example :

a_boy_jumps_[fixed.text.www.http].avi / jpg / gif

looking for a program to delete the "[....]" part, I got more than 100 files to rename...

I know few programs that rename files, but for this specific problem, not.

Any out there?

Yup, can do it easy with "bash shell scripting", but since you are a Windoze user, I don't think I will be able to help. Well, if you want to install Cygwin from www.cygwin.com then I probably can :)

try Bulk rename utility 2.1.0.7 might b a newer version but thats what i have used dont know wheather its freeware or shareware easy to use aswell
