Hey everyone I am a big fighting irish fan (football only), and I can't believe their awesome team this year. It is just so much more remarkable than last year's team, and I think they have a shot up against the big boys this year. I think they have a chance at the championships. Thoughts and comments?

umm there's a lot of different football so define football AFL,soccer,gaelic,etc

Irish dont play AFL... but you got a point... there's still 3 or 4 other codes (soccer, rugby union, league, gaelic)
sorry... i meant AMERICAN football... like tackle now its 3rd down... i dont know if u guys from ausy play american football but i am a gigantic fan of NCAA football :D

well we got rugby it's exactly the same but you have to touch the ball on the ground for a touch down but we call it a "try" and you don't wear any gear(helments pads etc.)
Zafiras AFL is international now and irland won the internaional cup that's because australia wasn't in it we don't bothere because we got it hear as well

ND is a good team, but they haven't been doing well lately, and I think if they are in a big bowl, then will probably lose. Unless they get themselves together again. Plus, never wear those green jerseys....
hehe amen to that :D - yah well they still have been doin better than last year :rolleyes:

Yeah, they've been doing good this year up until a few games ago.
