When every I play any of my games, after about 20min of play my computer just locksup and freezes. Then I have to restart it, its so annoying.

It does it on Flatout and GTA San Andreas plus others.

I thought it might have been my graphics card drivers but i reinstalled my old ones and it still did it. I ended up reinstalling windows but I still have the same problem.

Can any body help me?

My games were working fine. But all of a sudden they started crashing.
It is not just one of them but all of them.

Maybe its a conflict with sp2. Try updating at microsofts website.

It has been known for AMD 64's to be unstable on Windows XP, but I don't see why it would suddenly start crashing.

Maybe you should try Windows restore, its a long-shot but its worth a try.

I also suggest you make sure you have the latest drivers for all your hardware and also do a virus/spyware scan.

Are there any links between these games such as their protection types or makers?

i think Luicifer is right
id try the new microsoft update page
Microsoft Update (http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us)
turn EVERYTHING on like controllers, steering wheels and any pherphials you use and so on then run the update and if asked install the active X for it. hope that helps.

Ok ive tryed some of ur suggestions,
I installed all the updates from windows update site,
I got the latest drivers for my motherboard,
and also tryed it on my windows Xp64bit version.

It seems to work on the 64bit version but its very jumpy and the sound is a bit off.But it didn't crash.

I have also found that I can't get my computer to work with my tv any more.
It works fine on 64bit version though.

Has anyone else got any other ideas?

What do you mean by wirk with your tv? Hooking it up via your graphics card or inputting using a tv tuner card? Most likely you will need to install the drivers again and consider upgrading dirext x

I mean but cloneing my computer onto my tv/hooking it upto my tv.

And have tryed reinstalling my drivers.

I think it might be my graphics card overheating.

Does anyone know how to test the temp of it?or if this could be my problem?
