Sacred .. Dunno wth

Yeah, I dunno where to post, so uh.. I downloaded sacred_enu_1.8.2.6_retail.exe from the Ascaron site.. and it says it's not compatible with my 1.2.1.11 version. Downloaded 1.7 version first, and it said the same thing.. wtf do I do? =/ And my PC won't read the cd..

IIRC, that happens when you try to patch a no-cd'd version of the game. I'm not sure how you can back up to a clean install since your CD doesn't read. Alternatively, check to make sure you have the right version of the update. There are two different english patches (one for each side of the atlantic).

There was a hacked patch running around somewhere that allowed updating a no-cd'd version to 1.8.2.6, check the game entry here or megagames.

Anyway, deleted everything, exchanged cd's at the store, and now it reads cd 1, but when installing it says to switch disks, but.. it won't read the second cd. I'm really close to breaking something. =P
