i know its a stupid question but do you get word,exel and powerpoint or do i need to get hol of these programs seperatly

All those programs come standard if you buy Microsoft Office, I think you can get them seperate but there isn't much point.

Rather than paying out for those, why not use something free that can open and save pretty much perfectly to their format?

If You Only Have The Xp Home Edition You Dont Get Powerpoint, Excel, Publisher, Etc.
But If You Have Xp Pro Like Me Then You Get The Whole Package.

If You Go To Any Good Computer Shop They Will Give You It For About £5.

You Only Get What You Pay For!.

Word, Excel and Powerpoint are NOT included in the Windows XP (Pro included) package. You will have to but any of the MS Office packages to get them, which is sold seperatley. You might be able to get both Windows and Office as a bundle if you shop around, but I'm not too sure of that.
