i need a livecd disro to play quake3:arena
what do you guys recomend it dosent need other fancy programs just as long as quake will run and multiplayer over a network.

Live distro's don't tend to have the same hardware support that a full install would. Gentoo can do it no problem.

what i want is to be able to have the game and os on the one cd so ass soon as it boots up the game starts.

Chances of doing that are fairly slim, unless you want to go and build your own live distro? :D There are kits out there if you want to have a crack at it.
