Please help! im having trouble with my ePSXe Emu and FF9, read inside

Hey thanks for looking, i have an issue with final Fnatasy IX, im at the part where i fight Black Waltz no.2 and i defeat him then go to jump on the cargo ship (while grabbing Daggers buttox ;) wewt go Zidane!) and it starts a cut scene and duting that scene it freezes and makes a consistent annoying sound.... can anyone tell me y? or how i can fix this? Ive tried turning the sound drivers off to reduce the Vram, and also ive put it into window mode with 16bit color and about ever other crappy setting, im just tryin to get thru this dang scene so i can kick @$$ some more... *sigh* if anyoen can help me PLEASE do not hesitate, send me an email at dragoon91011@yahoo.com or leave a post, i really appreciate it!!! the sooner the better. My specs for my comp are good enough to support a PS2 Emulator so it shud be compatible with this Emulator...

IS the game disc clean try wipping it off with a game cleaner or NON accitone nail polish remover. Other wis i dont know is it the newest version of espxe i dont have any problems with my version. Try downloading new bios files

if you need any more help just pm me if u have any trouble and i dont reccomend you confuse non aceetone naiul polish remover with accetone nail polish remover. Accetone nail polish remover with F@#K up you game, while non accetone nail polish remover with fix all the scratches of scuffs on your game disk making it look brand new.
-------------apply the NON acetone nail polish remover with a cotton ball, soft tissue, napkin or if you dont have any of that TOILET PAPER lol it works i had to use it. lol

oh i had the same problem when i played the game you have to use an older version of epsxe use 1.52 . YOu have save the game on your memory card and then transfer it to the other emulator
