Hi, when I start setup.exe, and the installshield is getting ready to install, i get this error:

"An error (-5003 : 0x17) has occurred while running the setup.

Please make sure you have finished any previous setup and closed other applications.
If the error still occurrs, please contact your vendor: Rockstar Games
(http://www.rockstargames.com/)."

Then there's 3 buttons to click on after that message. First one is "Report", second one is "Detail>>" and third is "OK"
I've already clicked on "Report" to report to installshield. I've clicked on details and I've gotten this:

"Error Code: -5003 : 0x17
Error Information:
>SetupDLL\SetupDLL.cpp (2534)
PAPP:Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
PVENDOR:Rockstar Games (http://www.rockstargames.com/)
PGUID:D417C96A-FCC7-4590-A1BB-FAF73F5BC98E
$10.50.0.125
@Windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600) BT_OTHER 232.64"

And "OK"... well... it works for getting out of the error message window. Can someone please help me? Thanks in advance.

Maybe it's your Service pack 2

I suggest you get rid of SP2. It's caused more probs than it has helped (at least with me)

Ok, so maybe it REALLY is SP2 causing this problem... I've searched google for people with this problem, and... They ALL had SP2! Obviously, I'm gonna get rid of it... Problem is, I'm a damn noob at computer things, so I need to know... How do I revert to SP1? Thanks in advance.

Controlpanel -> Add/remove programs.

GTA SA and SP2 works for me.

Ok, I got a solution myself, and it's working now! Thanks anyway! (NorthViking, I'll talk to you later, if you know what I mean eh... ;) )
