Problems with Sound.

Ok here's the deal:
I dit somethin to my Drect X-file, to get GTA San Andreas working well.. the rain was tearin me apart :flaming: But now im playin some other game (Anarchy Online) and the sounds are constently skippin, and freakin out.. Where can i find my Direct X file.. coz all i found in my WINDOWS>system32>Direct X files was Dinput and then a whole lotta PNG and Configuration files.. but i'm absolutely sure that there was some kind of .exe in which i could turn off somethin, (it had somethin 2 do with hardware acceleration?) so i could play GTA SA normally...

Anyone know where 2 find that .exe or how to get it back on my pc.. downloaded Direct X 9.0c, but it didnt change anythin...

Do you have any system restore point before you did something to those files?

Try that:
1. Click on "Start" (left, bottom on your screen)
2. Click on "Run"
3. Type: "dxdiag" and press enter
