Need for speed UG2: Rachel's Car

Hi there,

I just got a cingular call from Rachel in the game saying that i cannot race anymore until i return her car to her... what's really odd is i don't have her car and if i do (which i know i don't), i have no clue where to find the damn thing to return it to her.
I couldn't complete anymore races in the game because they were not listen in the game F2 map, BUT in the Garage they were available in the world map there, where i could select from a list shown to me what i completed and what i didn't complete.
As soon as i completed the remaining 3 that were not listed in the game (but were there), She then called me again saying that if i don't return her car, she will have the word out on me.
Now, that really pisses me off because i have no clue why she wants her car back because I thought that it is only given to you temporarily until you buy a car at the begining.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I GROW GREY HAIRS?!?!?!

You should have gotten that call really early in the game. Are you sure you got it and jsut didn't delete it?

i'm pretty sure that i didn't get that call earlier in the game.

Is it possible that I traded her car in by accident for my best car i have out of the 4?
when i got to the garage to pick out my car i'm 99.9% positive that her car wasn't traded in, but i dono.. i "may" have accidentally done something without paying any attention, but i read between the lines throughout the game so i know i didn't bump into any problems..

it's very odd, because you'd think that the game would help you find her car, so you can deliver it back to her?

that is really odd... may be EA games can help since no one else here has a damn clue what i'm trying to figure out.

BTW, when you got that call, where did you find her car and where did you bring it back to? did it give you an A to B direction? I've been looking all over the place and have no clue where her car is at... this is very irritating.. i'm jumping like green pea guy...

For me I started the game, had her car, ran a few races, got the call, returned to the garage. Boom, begin rest of game. So, I'm not sure, you may have fallen through some loophole in the programming or something.

loophole... i hope not.. i've done damn good so far.. my corolla has over 50,000 under the hood so far and is the fastest car out of all 4... i'd hate to have to restart the game... btw.. when i got up to like 42% through when i got her call, that is when i decided to find those 3 races that she restricted me from.. i found them luckly in the menu in the garage under world map where you can find remaining and victory races.

please continue to tell me .. you are starting to make me happy now cause you have a little info that i need, i still need more thanx,

See, i never got that call until just after getting up to 43%... now i'm at 48% because i found those 3 hidden races... anyway.... again.. you still are not answering my question and you are being an idiot.

Whether you patch the game or not you start the game with rachels car. You can partake in 3 races then you have to go to the car lot and buy your own car.

That's it for rachels car - end of story.

If you can progress no further - check the sms messages. Does your car have a high enough star rating for the level's racing. Do you have any special events to complete.

Lastly - posting agressive posts will not get you any help. I appreciate that you do not want to restart the game but just because the first answer you get does not solve your problem, be patient. Maybe, just maybe this community might have higher priorities.

At the end of the day it's only a pc game and not life and death...

i'm sorry for being a jerk, i posted that last messege when i got home from my graveyard shift this morning, and i should have not been a jerk to everyone.

as for how many stars i have... the Toyota Corolla has the highest among any of them... with over 50,000 in accessories and engine parts installed and a star rating of 5.94.... just shy of 6. :D
so do i need to be at least 6 to get into other racing?

i never did race rachel's car, i just went strait to the dealer lot and bought the corolla which was my first car.

my other cars, consist of Tiberun, Audi A3 3.2, and Mustang GT.
none of these cars have a visual rating higher than 4, because i consitrated mostly on my first ride mainly because i noticed how well the car was performing after each upgrade.... and wow,, the corolla at 50,000 bucks of installments... when on the test track for circuit, street x, or url..... it can corner VERY well at high speeds, usually i got it up to about 120 around the tight corner at the begining of the test track.

Try getting the corolla to a 6 star rating - the red decal shops may help with more/different graphics. These do not drastically alter the look of your car and can be removed later.

Ohhhh yeeeah...

hhehe.. like just before you and that other poster guy posted about getting a 6 star rating.. yeah you know... i listened to my next sponsor, well cause now i'm past that point where i was stuck, now i need to get to a 10 star rating to meet the qualifactions of my contract with my sponsor.
my Corolla now has a 6 speed transmission can got from 0-100 mph in just under 7 seconds, and i'm currently foxying up my mustang and tiberun. i just bought my sponser paid Evo VIII, so i won't touch that car at all....

anyway, thanx for your help. i think that rachel returning her car thingie must be a glitch, cause no one has replied about it in two other forums i went to.
