GTA San Andreas (PC) without service pack 1

¿GTA San Andreas works on windows xp without service pack 1?

Because I don't have service pack 1 over my windows XP, and GTA San andreas crash after a few minutes. All drivers are up to date. Everything works fine, all games works excellent EXCEPT GTA San Andreas :(

try sp2 - works fine for me - xp pro sp2

Do you have any overclocked components?

do u have an ATI with VPU enabled??
sp2 will help out with ur problem
