No GTA2 cracks work in Win2k!!

Can you believe that none of the cracks at Megagames will allow GTA2 to run without the CD under Windows 2000? They either perform an illegal operation or ask for the CD. I couldn't believe it! If someone could ammend this i would be most grateful.

Windows 2000 isn't the best operating system to play games.
use instead windows 98 or windows me for better results.

I... can't... go... back... to windows 98... besides, all my other games work no problems and I actually found that the german patch for GTA2 works in windows 2000 even though its the English game im running! :clap: Thanks anyway for your help,
