how to make a crack work

ok, i downloaded a crack for San Andreas and now i want to know how to make this whole thing work, im a complete newb to this whole scene. Can someoen tell me how i would do this???? ty lawrence

copy the crack, and click paste in the directory with the SA .exe file.

Example:

Install directory for San andreas = C:\Games\GTA SA

Wherever ur crack is, copy it and paste it into the above folder overwriting the original. You may want to backup the original .exe, as i always do. Just keeps it somewhere incase it needs old files to update.

I believe the .exe should be called 'gta_sa.exe'

oh yea...by the way...now i just have the crack and nothing else. So it obviously doesn't work. What else do I need?
