GTA San Andreas - PC fix

4 all u people out there who are sad cause gta san andreas hoodlum doesnt seem to work on their leet pcs..
if u get a black screen in the beginning instead of the game

try this :

after replacing the original exe by the crack
-go to "Properties" of the new(cracked) ".exe"
-TAB(window) : "Compability"->"Compability Mode" :
-Select "win2000"(if u have winxp or win2k offc)
-No other changes. save.
-Test.

With alot of people this little adaption did! work so why not try it

That's about downloaded software i tought that wasn't allowed here!
I don't give a f*ck if you're an premium member but i guess RuleZ apply to any1 so i guess talking bout fixes for downloaded content is illegal!

wasnt sure if this worked, found it yesterday, so i figured id let you guys know..

its referring to the NO-CD crack that Hoodlum made..

It works!!!!! But you must edit registry and must have the normal save path. If you use the Inspire crack and change saves to my c:\ then it will lag and crash + no save. But if you put it to "C:\Documents and settings\All Users\Documents\San Andreas User Files" then it should work and fix allc rash for the most part.

Tried that. Also tried signing on as a different user. Just get the intro, then a black screen and the window closes.

GTA san andreas is crashing my pc when i enter a vehicle or buildiing and i'm not the only one with this problem. I guess i need a pc fix patch. Does anybody know where i can get one?

lol, i tried 18248345 ways to make this game works, even changing my windows theme to blue...well, there are about 3 or 4 threads about GTA SA pc version that crashes... well in many of them some guys could make the game work...well my prob is the crack...the games only show the intro...when is going to the main menu (start game, options, etc...) ot crashe and says that gta_sa.exe doesnt works... well if some1 has a working crack and uses windows XP plz PM me, or reply here woth the link....thx

I have bought the game before 3 days.I installed the game and i use the Hoodlum crack (the ALL version one). All works perfectly. No problems. I played the game for hours continiously without problems.
The Hoodlum crack is ok. I run the game in a PC with: Athlon 64 3000+, 768 RAM, 6600 GT 128MB (with the official 71.84 version drivers), onboard sound card (some people said that you need to have a sound card in your PC , beacause the game is buggy with onboard sound cards), windows XP Pro SP2.


For everyone who has problems, be sure that you have DirectX v. 9.0c installed in your computer and the latest drivers for your graphic card .

i read on another forum (sacriledge i know) that the bugginess and crashing all the time is an ati thing perhaps caused by a little rivalry between ati and nvidia i know this is not a fix but just posting what i read

No Not ATI maybe NVIDIA , me and 2 Friends are running it perfectly on ATI Mashines,
I have a Radeon 9700 Pro, and the two other have a 9600 PRO,
No problem at all, These errors are either random or Nvidia-Bugs...
Maybe a fix will come out soon.

Well, the game started working for me (i mean i can play the game)but, the glitches are there...
If u cant even see the main screen, you only see the beggining, i can help u...
That worked for me...
I downloaded the mini - image on GCW and emulated it(with Daemon tools)...then i cracked the game with the fixed hoodlum crack...well it worked...but dont forget, GLITCHES STILL THERE...if it didnt work use your original CD...

If u dont know how to use daemon tools:
1-Install (then he will reboot ur pc, reboot it)
2-open it
3-on ur Taskbar will have an icon of daemon tools, i believe it is on red...then make a right click
4-on options choose automount, autostart and taskbar icon (well, thats how is on my pc)
5-on emulation choose ''all oprions on''
6-then go to Virtual cd/DVD-Rom
7-go to Device0: [X:] No media
8-choose ''mount image''
9-find up the image folder
10-the gta image will be in a strage format (.mir) so choose ''all files''
11-double click on it
12-crack the game
13- try playing the game, good luck!

A few days ago HOODLUM released their GTA: San Andreas. But on some systems it
doesn't work properly, caused by some crappy Windows mistakes. To get it work,
you need to create a new Windows account OR change something in the EXE. So
this fix is for guys, who don't get the time to fix this ++++. This is a fix

2. Replace gta_sa.exe with our fixed.
3. Open gta_sa.reg with a Text-editor
4. Replace the String 'Documents and Settings' with the one on your system
language.
5. Run gta_sa.reg.
6. You may need to restart your machine.
