I think yes.Ubi soft have done a great job by making this anti piracy system known as starforce.Not even the steam anti piracy is as close to this.Games like sc3,silent hunter 3 are now impossible to crack.The bad news is that these protection mess with your software.so do you support starforce or not?

1. It wasn't Ubisoft, they are only the publisher, StarForce develope Starforce not Ubisoft!
2. DAEMON Tools V4 can emulate the StarForce CD/DVD
3. I think it's a fine thing for the developers, but for me it not.
I don't want to reboot only when i want a game to install&play

Second Sight her had a starforce cp. I downloaded a fixed exe and game works without the cd.

Pirates and warze guys are not affected. Only legal gamers and legal gamers who want to use cracks to save the cd from being scratched suffers from starforce and other so called anti piracy tools. :flaming:

starforce could be tough but finally there are starforce games that have been be cracked but takes more months than other protections
