Ok, ive recently downloaded a DVD, thinking it was simply a movie file.(YES, IT IS COMPLETELY LEGAL AND UNCOPYRIGHTED). Basically i have both the Video_TS and Audio_TS folders but alas, i have no DVD RW. Does anyone know a way or a program that i can run these files locally on my PC?

Hmmm thats a tricky one, any DVD playing program should be able to play some of the files in Video_TS more specifically the .vob files. I know Power DVD can read .vob files, so try that. If that doesn't work then I suggest that you try a DVD converter program.

PowerDVD & WinDVD can run "DVD FILES". I do it all the time.

Power DVD will play the vobs as Revelation says, but I must say that I find videolan client the most versatile player I've ever come across...

It plays stuff that sometimes all my other media players fuss over.
