I dont know what others think but as far as im concerned project 64 is the best N64 EMU about, even more so now with the 1,6 release, i can now play donkey kong 64 effortlessley. It also depends on what plugins you get, i use rice video 5.6 and daedelus 5. something

go ^there^ and u get plugins for the EMU from google search :p

Just kidding, yeah Project64 is a good emulator if you know how to use it properly.
