FarCry 64 Question

Ok, I'm confused, is the FarCry 64 patch for the AMD 64 or for Windows 64? Or need you both? I have AMD 64 but XP 32 so I need to know if it's worth downloading.

FarCry 64 is for Windows 64, neways I though Windows XP 32 can't run on AMD 64's.

Drat. Well, XP works fine for me, as well as it's going to run anyways...

64 bit is backward compatiable with 32 bit.
just does 2x32 bit orders. so simple but so clever.
i can't see a patch making a game from 32 bit to 64 bit.
they would have to re write the WHOLE game. i believe they will be selling it later this year. last i heard anyway. i could be completly wrong (nothing new)
