I can't get Windows XP professional or Home edition to run many games, mainly X-Com Apocalypse (No SVGA drivers) and American McGee's Alice (It's all screwy...).
I was just wondering if I could get XP to support SVGA for a change.
Hints/tricks etc etc.. try here.. http://members.aol.com/axcel216/

Went there, got confused, ran away... I searched there for about half an hour in the end, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Is there a software SVGA device available, or has anyone heard of one?

Well I know with Xp there is a compatability function for programs. For ex. go to the exe file for a game and go to properties and there is a compatability tab that u can go into then u can make the game run in win 98 for example. I dont know if it will work if u have a prob with svga.
