View Full Version : FFX-2 Should it be made?

I don't know if it goes here or not, but it IS a topic to debate.
Could go in console section too...

Anyway...personally I feel that FFX-2 or any continuation to a game in the Final Fantasy series should not be made because that ruins the "Final Fantasy" feel (for lack of better word). I also feel that Final Fantasy XI should not have been made online (Though I will probably play it) but instead have the online game made as a game not in the main series (e.g. Final Fantasy Tactics).

However, on the other side I feel change is a good thing - if it's changed right. If this is done well it may be indeed a very great thing.

I dunno...Post what you feel about the subject.

Note: I have very mixed feelings about this...and could be swayed to different sides very easily.
(FFVII-2...that would own more than all)

of course ffx-2 should be made.... whats wrong with sequels to good rpgs??.... but i do feel its wrong for final fantasy to go online... thats nuts..... theyre turning final fantasy into a fantasy star online.... well at least if they didnt charge a fee to play online i wouldnt complain that much but they DO:cussing:

Well, as i said in the thread col posted in "news"...the whole idea to me is wrong, considering it's the same characters, but a totally diff story. Yuk!! :rolleyes: it's bad enough the ending of X sucked (majorly) then they have to go and do this crap. :mad: :rolleyes:
as for FFXI and the whole online debate...yeah, i agree square shoulda stuck to the console...but likewise, i will probably play it. (can't resist,lol) ;) all in all, yeah it's kewl if done right...and also in the end- *gasp*- it is only a game. :eek: :o ai,sacrilege!! ;) :grinangel

They didnt do part 2 for the other FF series why should they then make FFX-2?

FFX-2 is a side story to FFX. There will be two sidestories, one for Yuna and one for Rikku.

ok if it's a sequel it should be made but if not then it will suck just to have ffx2 as a name! i think it will be great to have a sequel of ffx since ff11 it's not n i didn't like the ending on ffx.
