Video help !!

I reinstalled my windows and updated them installed all the programs i had but now after reinstalling the windows most of my movies wont launch neither on winamp,divx or windows media player, but on DIVX PLAYER i get this error " Failed to open file. Please check that it is valid AVI or MPEG-4 file"
on the other programs i dont get any errors,it just doesnt launch or the program freezes. :blacpuz Did anyone get this problem if yes and you resolved it please respond to this thread thank you

Have you downloaded and installed DIVx or Xvid codecs?

Give Video Lan Client (VLC) a try from www.videolan.org. It's probably the best opensource player on the net; it'll play just about any media type on nearly every platform.
