Problems with C&C Zero-Hour in multiplayer mode

I have bought C&C Generals Zero Hour And I Have Installed it, and now it's working good with no problems except the multiplayer section
when I wanna play over the internet it says: Could not connect.
I updated the game with the patch from the main website but it didn't fix the problem

I connect to the net over a network

If u know a solution for this problem plz tell me

Your problem may be to do with you connecting to the net over a network, before you play online through generals ZH you have to configure a few things. Go into options, make sure that where it says LAN IP is the IP of the server, if you connect through a HTTP proxy make sure you enter something in there, and make sure 'Send Delay' is on. That should work, if it doesn't chnage LAN IP to your computers IP, and see what happens then.

My IP is already in the LAN IP bar

Is the executable blocked by a firewall or an av program ?

u might have bought the pirated version.
same thing goes with me.
just buy an original one and u,ll be fine.because the pirated version doesn,t support online play mode.
