Here my Problem ,i hope u understand what i type :)

We have 2 Computers at home ,1 with Internet Connection. The 1 with the Internet Connection connects over a modem ( ISDN ). Now i build in in both Pc´s a Wireless Network Card. And Configured them so that both Computers can use the Internet. But for that i can use the Internet both Computers need to be on.
But i cannot use my Connection 100% because i have some TCP problems.
Example: I have Emule Installed and checked if all Ports r free to use the Programm well. But on the Page i get an TCP error ( TCP Connection Failed Conection Timeout ). And if i want to Host a game Online i get a Message ( ur Intern IP is Different then the Extern IP ). Is there a solution to share the Connection 100% so both Computers get the same IP or something ?

1st Computer runs WinXP Home SP2
2nd Computer runs WinXP Pro SP1

Thx in Advance

The 1st PC is doing NAT (Network Address Translation) so the IP address of PC2 will be converted to the address of PC1 when it goes out into the world. A lot of P2P apps don't allow this, as do many other applications that require certain ports to be used.

PC1 needs to do port forwarding, which you will not be able to do under the standard Windows XP Firewall and Shared Internet Connection tool that is built in. If you get yourself a proprietary firewall you may have more luck. To be honest, the fastest solution for you would be to move the net connection to PC2 as it sounds like this is the one doing most of the work

IHTH
