splinter cell 2nd level problem

hi ...could someone help me :-((

at the 2nd level (defense ministry) while iam using the laser mic for Grinko and Masse and at the top floor the mic square turns white and lambert says :(( what in gods name u think u r doing fisher ...mission is over )).... every time i tried to make it from different positions but at the word ((except for ....)) the mic stops and mission fails .....what can i do ... can someone help me plz :-((((

nothing i foundd in any walkthrough or FAQ .... all of them tell me to use the mic then lambert will talk to me and blah blah blah..... i don't know what happens but every time they stop at the same phrase ..... plz ... if somebody can help me .... or maybe cuz the game is cracked?

If I recall correctly it is very simple:

From a secure position (anywhere in the dark) select the Laser Mic:

[assuming you have the default keys, you press and hold Control, select it with the mouse and left-click]

- The laser mic work "reading" the vibration of soundwaves on glass...

-... so, when you use it and the screen with the white square come up, point it to anywhere in the glass elevator.

- It will turn red and you'll hear (obviously) sound. Keep following it as it rises until the end of the conversation...

-... at which point Lambert tells you something. Objective complete!

THX SOOOO MUCH ..... it really helps ..... also i found that i had to crouch from the begining ....thx soooooo mmuch i passed the level
