Is there anyway of making a 1 track mixtape into several tracks? Basically on the tracklisting it's got it listed as 1. 2. 3. etc but it's only actually 1 track with loads of songs before, i've come across this before but i've never really bothered with the cd but this one is good i'd just like to have it track by track! I know it's not explained very well but hopefully somebody can help me, even if it's jus to say it's not possible. Thanks in advance

Load the whole thing as an MP3 into something in the lines of GoldWave or Audacity (free). Put in markers for each track where you want them to start and finish, then save out those sections as seperate MP3s, easy peasy pudding and pie ;)

yeah but i swear that will only let you put one finish marker?! There is meant to be about 30 tracks so i want to split every track up, how do i do that, i can't seem to find it anywhere in the help file

I use Adobe Primire to simply split tracks. But that isn't free...
Audacity would be your best bet. Split one song out, save it. then split the next song out, save it. Rinse and repeat. It may get boring, but thats what happens...

There are many programs you can use to split individual tracks, do google search for MP3 splitters, I had similar problems when I was backing up all my old casetts.
