I have been playing MLB Slugfest 2003 for about a week and have a question. Playing 2player is great. The hitting variation is good, pop ups, homeruns, line drives, fly balls, grounder etc... are all seen.
When I play single player however, the CPU constantly (greater than 90%) of the time rips unplayable line drives into the outfield via the hole at SS or between 2nd & 1st. The outfielders have no time to respond before these shots are at the wall. CPU rarely if ever hits grounders, popups or flyballs?!
I have even tried playing as an ALL-Star team vs the Marlins and they kill me every time. I am a veteran of many computerized sports and baseball games and this seems ridiculous.
Could anyone suggest some settings changes or is this just how the gameplay is?
I am totally frustrated. The current Marlins should never beat an All-Star team 10-3 in a 5 or 7 innning game, come on!!
