We're having problems getting our forums back up online www.backupscene.com, seems like some hacker has been on the site and put a virus on there. it's phpbb forums and the administrator that has the servers etc can't it fixed. So any help could be usefull.

People that know something more about these problems can contact him at jit111@gmail.com

Agreed. I'd be surprised if the database wasn't corrupt itself.

Depending on how bad it is, it can be very messy.

A couple of years back, the MG database became corrupt (along with many other issues) so I spent about 6-7 hours straight going through everything and finally had it working again. (hence recovering all members, posts, etc)

I have not had a whole lot of experience with phpBB (Mostly vBulletin & UBB) so I don't know how much help I'd be...Then again the structure for phpBB & vBulletin shouldn't be all that different.

Have you tried sarching/posting on the phpBB website?

you could restor the mysql files if it is a linux srever, and you have saved anything over.

else i would recomend backuping in the future.

for the actualt problem you would want to export down the whole thing, and find a mysql debugger or something (does that exist:P?) else you could handle it over to proffesional people.

We're back up and running, hopefully for some good time now.
