I'm having problems with a HDD which has some sort of fault on it. :sword:
I've tried running check disk which comes with XP but the thing never gets to the end. :tredmil: If I do a full scan it gets to 100% but then hangs and my PC don't re-boot :cheeburga so I'm looking for another program to check my HDD with.
I know there is one in Norton System Works but I have never liked that suit so I would prefer something else.
Any idea folks?

Cheers m8.
It seems to be working but the program has been running for about 18 hours now and has gone through nearly 80MB of a 120GB HDD, so I think it might take a while until I can check the results.
I thought the "open source" boys would be falling over themselves with ideas but it would appear not.

Found Fix-It Utilities™ 5 from VCOM

I'll try that if I get no joy with other efforts.
