Problems with Emule!

hi i have emule but untill it stars the download it wait a lot time then it starts and then it waits again?
is it normal?
do you know some other good programs like emule edonkey or kazaa?

P2p clients are always damn slow....
i don't think there's any way to speed em up

P2p programs are usually slow becuase the user you a sharing from isn't allowing enough bandwidth though to you or any user. If your on a 56k the max download speed you'll get is about 5 anyway. But if you've got 256K or better then If your downloads are still slow, try a different program. Limewire is a tasty treat because It shows you what type of connection the person you are downloading from has.

Doesn't mean I use Limewire.

Well, it shows what connection they tell it they have. Many people put they have a good connection because they think it gets them better speeds.

I don't like E-mule I never can download nothing from that thing

I suggest using bearshare or limewire, they've got bettter quality downloads and its a lot faster than kazaa and emule
