sm3.3 and pstwo help

the problem im having is that the my ps2 slim wont boot from the swapmagic dvd disc. the browser menu comes up and even by choosing the disc it ont load it. it worked good twice but not anymore. i have no idea wat is wrong. i have exchanged this disc for a new one once but it still doesnt work.

Some ppl have the same simliar problem with the sm3.3 reason being it depends what version of the ps2 you have...i know this may sound funny and dumb but it seems that it isnt compatible with all ps2's like they say it should.....i had a v4 ps2 which i gave to my lil niece but have not tested out the sm3.3 on it but on my other ps2 that i have works just fine but im not sure what version it is caus ei have not bothered looking at it hehe......you can take my word for it or not but it seems to me thats tha case....hopefully this helps

what seems wierd though is that it worked fine the first few times i used it. i was able to play nfsu2. then i tried it again and it didnt want to boot from the dvd disc. i would think if it wasnt compatible it wouldnt work from the first time i tried. thanks for the info.

thats true but plays a big role is the kind of dvd's u use.......dvd-r or dvd+r use whichever your ps2 reads and stick with name brand dvd's TDK, Sony, etc etc
