I was wondering If anyone knows of a burning program which can successfully replicate Securom and Safedisk without having to resort to a patch? Alcohol 120
just doesn't cut it and the disk cannot be used for play. I'm tired of downloading patches for games that I already own!

What's wrong with Alcohol? That would have been my suggestion. You could try CD Clone or the like, but my personal favourite has always been the combination of Alcohol and DaemonTools.

Alcohol cooks it fine, but trying to run the cd straight from the rom leads to the game rejecting the disk and asking me to put in the original. Would clone cd do a better job, especially concerning securom?

I've never used it to be honest. I've never had troubles with it. Are you using Alcohol's logical drive or DaemonTools?

It's mainly concerning one game which has doesn't have a working patch. The Punisher- I've tried imaging it and running it through daemon tools, but it consistantly rejects me.

Do you have all the options turned on with DaemonTools?

goes without saying, i've been using daemon tools for a few years now but this is the frst game to give me trouble

Well, it is a fairly new game, you may need to just wait for a working patch or an updated version of DaemonTools.

I've heard Nero suite backed-up Beyond Divinity which has StarForce 3 (a real pain, cd protection) and runs it with the back-up cd. I havn't got nero, I use NTI Cd-Maker 6.5 or something. I'm going to try Nero, but not sure where to get it.

I don't think that is true nero is not very known to be good copying copy protected cds
