I'm trying to patch my dnas on Madden 05 and Mvp 05 but i'm coming to a problem. I have done the disk id and used iso buster to extract the dnas and ipo files, but i'm stuck on the part where you have to use imagepatcher. I'm unsure how to use this and cant find any tutroials anywhere on the web. Can someone please help out a newb? I cant figure it out. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can render.

Check for Windip, much easier and faster. no need to extract anything.

ok, I tried the windip thing. My question is, do I burn just the cue file to get the dnas id # or what? I inserted the disk I burned with the cue file and it said to now put in your game, when I did, nothing happened. Do I use the swap method for this too or do I just eject the disk with the button and put in the origional disk?

you mean for getting a disk id?
you have to get Disk ID Utility burn it on a CD and then put it in the PS2. Next it asks you to put in your original game, and press X. Then you'll get a disk id, you write it down. Start windip on your PC burn your game onto the PC. fill in the disk ID in windip and patch your game. Then burn it on a DVD and you're set.

I understand that, but what i'm asking is do you have to burn just the .cue file or both of the files? ALso, can I just press the eject button on my ps2 after putting in the diskID disk, or do I have to use the swap and slide method?

You can use either one, bin or cue the program will put both on your CD. And you don't have to use the swap magic method, just press the eject and swap it with an original. Good luck.

Well, I do appreciate your help but I must be doing something wrong. I put in the CD-R that I burnt the DiskIDutility .cue file onto, then it says to put in a disk. So when I push eject on the ps2, the screen goes away and then I put in madden 05 or socom II or any online game and it just loads it up like it normally would. Am I missing something???

No normally the screen should stay the same until you hit X after putting in an original game. Then you would get some numbers on the screen. did you follow the tutorial on how to burn a bin cue file? What program are you using to burn it?

Here are the steps i'm using:
1-Burn the .cue file from DiskIDutility extracted files onto a cd-r.
2-Turn on Ps2 and insert the disk I just made in step 1.
3-Let the screen come on saying to put in a ps2 disk (pink screen)
4-Press eject (this is when the screen goes away) and insert my origional ps2 disk to get the dnas numbers.
....why does my screen go away?....am I suppposed to use the swap magic disk in any way at all?

you should use your swap magic disks to start the disk id utility cd first, right? When you play a backup you should always put in a swap disk first, it's the same with that.

PS. You wouldnt also happen to know how to get the bittorrent passwords for files so i can extract them....do you?

Hi, I was wondering how to do this with cogswap. Ya'll know of anyway to do it? Anytime I do my normal routine (ps1 game, ps2 game, X, burned disc) it just seems to spin out. Any ideas? Would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I have no chip. I have cogswap on my memory card and a switch to open my tray. no slide card.
