Anyone here know how to edit one of these files? Adobe launched an update that changed the permissions for PS CS and their tech helps says edit the PS.sif file. Not sure how to open it, since no program reconizes it. Any ideas?

Do you have an idea what your file is supposed to do? I mean is it supposed to be an image, or a text file?

Its supposed to be some kind of document. I suspect its for Macs, b/c the instructions say to control click to open it. Then it says there should be a file organization system inside that comtain the permissions.

EDIT: forgot to ask you. but are you using MAC?

Your best doing as Puppet Master says though and open it in a text editor. The header of the file should be able to tell you it's type straight away.

I'm use window XP. When I open it in a text editor it comes up with weird characters. When searching for a language with word noting is reconized.
