yeah .. i read an indepth story about this in a magazine .. looks well cool with actual sweat/blood/brusing and ripped clothes all running in realtime!! and some of the finishing moves looks so sweet :D

I just got the new issue of psm and it has like 3 to 5 pages devoted to this game!!! it sounds awsome I cant wait. Scorpion and sub zero are in the game and they were allways my favorites. I favor sub zero a little more than scorpion tho:)

yo ps2freak isnt this game made by rare???? how is it coming to gc? or did they sign something saying it would come out on gc then xbox?

I don't think it's made by Rare, I don't think any of the other MK games were made by Rare either...

hmm.. i dont think it is that type of game that will be remembered.. i mean.. Mortal Kombat was EXTREMELY overhyped, and the game is very poor with no plot and zero strategy. Hope this NEW developer can turn that around :)

IMO, think your wrong. Mortal kombat wasn't extremely overhyped. If MK had no plot in it, they wouldn't make 2 movies for it. IMO, the game is great and fun. A new fighting genre is always welcome in my gaming libary.

ohhhh yes, i'm very excited about this game.

New characters, a more-than-usual storyline, and stunning graphics.

this one, WILL be the best.

actually NO youre wrong it IS a midway game, always has been, the only fighter i remeber rare having was killer instinct. that was a sweet game as well.

Yeah, its definitely not a Rare game... especially because it was out on Sega Genesis...
