For those of you who still cannot get the mini image to work.
If you badly want to make it work
Back up everything to another pc/external storage
format the hdd and install the OS
install FM 2005, patch it to ver5.0.5
install daemon, mount image
This way it is guaranteed to work.

As all traces of Cd?DVD ripping software will be deleted
It is still not clear what emulation fm 2005 actually check for and where
If u check by installing one such app one at a time, that way we will know

i kept on getting : 'cd/dvd emulation software has been detected. Please disable all cd/dvd emulation software and re-start the game'

the thing is u have to delete other image makin software. stupid alchohol 120% i deleted it and it works

OK, I have the FM 2005 original download (at around 700 mb)

I have the mini file download.

I RAR them both.

I Use Daemon tools to mount image.

I have the exe image thing on my desktop.

I click on it, the screen goes black.

No clue what's up
I'm running XP.

None of my folders ever have data or anything. Am I supposed to Rar the data file (because it won't)?

I´m using the daemon tools and the mini image and it´s working fine, such a 5.05 version. (it´s showed at FM start page), but i cant update to 5.05 patch. It dont find my FM folder!

1) update your fm to patch v5.05
2) then install daemon
3) mount the mini image (unzip 1st)
4) run your fm

you dont need any crack file!

I have done everything written in this topic, but I still get this damn error msg. "cd/dvd emulation software has been detected. Please disable all cd/dvd emulation software and re-start the game"

- reinstalled FM2005
- installed 5.0.5 patch
- copied the mini-image to the fm2005 folder
- uses deamon 3.47. (latest)
- turnet on safedisk (also tried "all Options ON")
--got the error msg--
- uinstalled alchol 120%, creative zen micro software, nero, (didnt uinstall my digital camera software, but dont believe that work)
- rebooted my computer several times
- also tried to download the mini-image from this forum
--still gets the damn error msg--

What else could I try? someone have any ideas ?
Couldnt be that hard playing with the mini-image solution...

Could I burn out the mds file ? could that work.. use a cd with the image...?

neo, the problem you are having may be connected to certain registry keys of clone cd. Did you have it installed? If you did, search your registry for clonecd keys and delete them.

I had clonecd installed on my computer, I just uinstalled it, and then it worked..
Didnt needed to remove the register settings..

i have used this FM 2005 with mini image way, but i think it still more convenience if i use this 'no-cd crack for fm 2005 patch 5.0.5'. due to my ram isn't large (only 128mb), i think that i have better use it.

3.run Daemon tool

4. right clicking on daemon tool,then select virtual cd...then you set number of devices to 1... then you go back there and choose mount image... choose the mini file (.mds)and you can now open the game through the cm5.exe file...

I have a problem... When I'm downloading the folder with mini images there is only one and you are saying put the two files into the CM5 directory. The name of the file is FM2005.mdf. I've tried everything you suggested with this file but when I'm trying to start the game it says something like "Put the correct cd and then restart the application".

What should I do?

i'm abled to play without the cd crack. just download the mini image & Daemon ver 3.47. gd to go....patch the 5.0.5 1st, after updating. it will indicate no cd found. So install Daemon, mount the mini image. Try again. It works!:dance1:
