You can't yet. As far as I know GT4 cannot be backed up by a burner , has to be a pressed disc. Not to sure on the details , something to do with the way it's pressed , that burners can't replicate.
If you do a search on google you can proberly find a more detailed explanation of why you can't back it up yet.

no doable yet, either from DVD or hard drive. We'll probably have to wait for a release from a genius release group, hopefully they'll figure something out. It's possible (anything is!), it's just going to take time.

no believe me Cosmico its about 5.2 (5.6GB). i bet you put it in ure PC and looked at the properties of the disc lol. It will only show you the first layer, there is another layer which has the file GT4L1.VOL on it, i've been reading this AfterDawn Forum thread and we have had 40 Pages on this and we have covered everything lol, So for now just sit on it

I can confirm that this game GT4 is indeed 5398.31 Mb ! That is over 5 Gigabytes ! Due to the format that Sony uses on this game i.e. DL- you cannot effectively back this game up ! Why ? Because there is no DL- burner yet ! only DL+ burners ! Why is that you ask ? Probably & I am speculating, Sony has some sort of copyright on the DL- format, if they do, & remember I am speculating, this will in time expire allowing other companies to facillitate for the DL- format ! Sony dont want legitimate users (like us :-)) to have back ups of our personal copies of games ! Even though you have paid out your hard earned for the right to own the game ! This is not the last of it either ! expect more games in 2005 to come out in the DL- format ! ! I bet Metal Gear is one of them ! ! If I am wrong correct me, if you dont know for sure shuttup ! As I said its just speculation ! Prove me wrong with the evidence ! !

Just to update the MG people, I have since checked up on Metal Gear Solid - Snake eater it is not in DL- format ! ! But they may have some other type of encryption as it is not easily backed up using Alcohol 120%. I no this has nothing to do with this thread except for the fact I mentioned it may be in DL- format, its not ! But im off to find to put more why I cant back Metal Gear Solid - Snake Eater up ! Let me know if anyone finds a solution ! Cheers CrAnK
