hi, i cant seem to download the RTW v1.2 no-cd from MG, i've tried all the mirrors but nothing

does anyone know of another site with the no-cd? i cant seem to find 1

ya i just installed the patch and went looking for the no-cd but none work lol

oh well guess i just gotta use the orignal for now

Well the Disk Image you can get from my site, look in the other RTW thread about it I think page 3 I gave a url for it.

My theory is that all crackers got lazy, and don't care about making no-cd, since they can already play the game using mini-image file.

from what ive heared 1.2 is worse and your better off wating for the next patch,

and i say shogun total war is a better game :) :blah:

Something similar happened when the patch 1.2 of Farcry was released When I installed it converted my game on a crap ubisoft ditched it. I uninstalled and reinstalled to go back 1.1 and when the patch 1.3 was released the things went much better

Changing the talk I have shogun total war but I haven't played very often

Actually, 1.2 has more good things then bad things.
And it's pretty possibile that 1.2 would never get released.

ok i downloaded the mini-image but i have no idea how to use it lol, i read what was said in the other topic but that just left me confused lol

You need latest version of Alcohol120% or Daemon Tools, in order to mount them as a vritual drive.

while the mini cd image lets me run the game,

in campaign mode, if i decide that i want to control units in the battle (because the AI will butcher your units) i will enter the battle, but once i win, as it loads the world map again, the game crashes, everything, anyone else having this problem? and anyone know why it would happen?

i use image for wc3 as well, with no problems

No problem here. I downloaded the DABhand image (the one he has pointed to above in this thread). No crashes, the game runs without any issues with 1.2 patch (except the 1.2 issues such as usual game bugs etc.).
