I've read many people were having problems installing it, but on the forum you can't really compare as most people come on it when they have problems. There's a new guide 1.4 you need to follow every step very carefully before doing something. If you want to know more feedback you can go on the DMS forums http://web02063.prolocation.net/phpBB2/index.php .

Hi,

I installed a DMS4 EZI Pro into my PS2 yesterday. Aside from the 20,000 screws in the PS2 casing, i'd say it was as easy as installing my solderless xbox mod. Works perfectly, no problems whatsoever aside from a minor hiccup which i caused myself by running the wrong power supply through the external led board.

I installed the same chip.It works great. But you need to be very cautious.I had to bend the Motherboard shield in the corner near the eject ribbon, and put a couple little nuts on the ground loop before screwing down.Excellent buy but beware lots of trial and error.
