I'm quite ashamed at myself, I completely defied what I believed. I've always believed that cheating online was wrong it ruins the experience. Recently playing CS I got shot in the head thru the wall by some newb running some hacks. I got really pissed cause there was no way I could win against that. So I concluded that the only way I can beat a cheater is if I arm myself with hacks. Boy did I learn my lessons. Now I'm banned from my favorite servers, it took soo long to find those de_dust 24/7 servers. I am ashamed and I will never forgive myself for doing this hideous act. I apologize to the gaming community and I promise I will never do it again.

BTW I did worse when I was cheating cause I was using a wall hack I didn't realize I was shooting at a wall then I got killed. So all you wannabe cheaters out there...don't do it. (Yes I know I was just stupid ok? Don't have to remind me)

Ok I have skill but it is seriously un-nerving to get hit in the head thru a wall every god damn round. The hacker ruined my experience and I"m sure that one kill I got ruined that guys experience too. I mean I think I justified cheating to an extent but I'm wondering what makes hackers do it in the first place? Winning wit hacks is like letting the computer win for you.

I can't stand cheaters who use wall hacks or aim bots....Its ridiculous if you ask me. Its sucks though that you got banned from your fav servers. Just keep on looking for other good ones. Im sure there are plenty. :)

Just me...which pisses me off. I was trying to use a bunny hop script where you could clear the map in a matter of seconds but that was an adjustment made to the config file and a popular admin mod HLGuard detects this easily and I was banned. However, a popular hack which I will not name because I don't want people searching for it is undetected by the two most popular admin mods HLGuard and CSGuard. If I wasn't greedy and wanted to bunny hop around the map I wouldn't have been banned. But I did learned some valuable things in the short time I was trying to hack (ie how to hide the bunny hop script). I want to learn programming so I can better stop these hacks but that's a goal that's very far away.

And why do you guys try to put me down *sniff* I believe that I was justified to an extent. Plus its not because I suck therefore I cheat. I actually get fairly good scores. I've been improving for the past few weeks too. I've gone from an even kill death ratio to a 2:1, 3:1 kill death ratio. Which is a great improvement for me considering I've only played for like 2-3 months. But this is a major setback, I hope I didn't lose any of my skills by throwing my routine of playing so much out the window.

well, i learned something from counterstrike within the first week of playing. NEVER PLAY IT AGAIN !!!

the game is riddled with low lives, who feel the need to cheat, and think its clever. unfortunately, there will always be this sort of $hit in online gaming. Unreal Tournament is getting worse each day, and there are already a few aimbots/trgger bots out for ut2k3. another good game, ruined by muppets.

I say, we round up the morons that create these hacks in the first place, and tie them up. Then one by one we insert HOT coals into their rectum & listen to them scream. Once the screaming stops, we stomp them in the crotch, giggle & repeat the process. :biggrin:

I'm sure there's a more logical.....and humane way with dealing with these programmers who create hacks. There needs to really be an anti cheat system. VAC just isn't enough.
