each DNAS ID is different, just like CD keys for PC games. Work on getting the ID utility working. what's wrong with it? won't boot?

Hmmm one thing first: It's in the wrong forum, should be in Sony forums as it's a PS2 game you're talking about.
Second, are you sure this game can be played online?
Third, what version ps2 you have that the DNAS Utility doesn't work?

this game can definately be played online, I have a v9 playstation using swap magic, i just cant seem to get the dnas id utility to boot, I have tried both the cd/dvd versions, the reason i asked for just the last 6 digits is because only the first 4 digits are unique and the last six are used for multiple copies of the title, therefore the first 4 digits can be selected randomly selected and it will pass dnas, this means that there is no risk of being banned.
I do hope sum1 can help

Can you give me the ELF file of the game? It should be SLES_XXX.X or SCES_XXX.X (the X's represent numbers)

You can put your original DVD in the DVD drive of your PC and check for it. You can also find the number on the DVD cover, the manual or on the side of the Cover. I just need that so i can find a proper ID for your game. If you're checking it with the PC you can also look for DNAS files, if there are any.

Try XX XX 01 40 64 that's the only one i can still think off. You know you have to fill in the Xs from an exsisting Disk ID right?

no joy m8, still gettin error -864, i think ill wait till i get a confirmed id as i am wasting too many dvds, thanx for your help anyway, can u please tell me what your thinking was on giving me these ids, where did u get the ids from? Im just interested in ur theory on this, was it the sles number that led u to think these ids may work. also u do not have to fill in the first 4 Xs from an existing id, these can be randomly generated, i know this as i have done it numerous times with other titles, i just need the last 6 digits to be genuine.
Cheers

The Theory behind this is that the ELF files follow up with the released games, there is for every game a new number like yours is SLES_527.73. After a number of games the Disk ID number goes higher, see attachment for NTSC IDs. And the successrate is still higher if you get the last 2 from another original game then randomly choosing one, but that's your choice.
The PAL IDs are a lot more complicated then that, the list isn't totally correct or people aren't giving real Disk IDs. And the SCES and SLES numbers give even more problems. Not to mention that every country has it's own language and sometimes make a new number for that. That's why it's harder to find a PAL Disk ID then a NTSC Disk ID. I'm sure you know about the region code right? JAP 10, USA 30, Europe/AustralAsia 40, AustralAsia 60. After that code look at the numbers going up.
A4, AC, B4, BC, C4, CC, D4, DC, E4, EC, F4, FC, 04, 0C, 14, 1C, 24, 2C... etc till it reaches 9C and it starts all over again.
The 01 comes from when the batch is full (with hex numbers before that number, where you choose it randomly) it starts going up to 02.
I've also noticed there's one with XX XX 01 40 7C with a SLES_527.83, but like you say it could be another waste of a DVD, unless yours can handle DVD-RWs.
Hope this helps you find out how to do it yourself then.
