my ps2 problem

hi,

i just got my refurbish PS2 39001 (it is in good condition), but it will only boot PS2 original, backup and play audio cd, it will not boot any PS1 games and DVD movies :graysad: , can anyone tell me whats wrong with it, or anyone know what modchip is installed on my PS2?

you proberly have the same one as me, a Matrix XL2 or something like that, try putting the PS1 or DVD in the PS2 and then put it on standby with the red light, so the PS1 or DVD is still in it, Then to turn on hold the reset button until the red light turns to a blue light then let go and enjoy. If you follow exactly what i say it should work, this works for DVD's of any kind copied or not and PS1 games copied or not.

i also found method for booting ps1 and dvd movie for marschip
put in the disk(make sure the tray is close) and push RESET button twice
