I'm not Sure if this is the right forum to post this but here it goes.

First: The Battle for middle earth I have is legal just bought.
Second: I have 30+ computers and i have to install LOTR-BFME on all of them.

What I have done is to ghost a model computer with LOTR-BFME. Then Distribute it to all the computers. I know the they will have the same Serial Number, so I change the serial number and the matching LOTRBFMe.dat on each machine (I just read this procedure from another forum, it is for ghosting CnC Generals). But when you play skirmish, mission, or lan you will always be defeated after a few minutes or so.

Any suggestion for this is very much appreciated. It will be also be helpful to other people who are ghosting computers with LOTR-BFME.

How did you change the serial number for each?

I made a reg file for each computer containing:

<-START->
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\The Battle for Middle-earth\ergc]
@="ORIGINAL_SERIAL_NO_HERE"
<-END->

I have already purchased 30 LOTR-BFME (You'll have great discount if you buy in bulk ^.^). The only thing I have problem is you have to install LOTR-BFME one-by-one on each computer. Just imagin if a pc take 15-20 mins to install LOTR_BFME then 30pc x 20 mins = Hellalotoftimetofinishall. So destributing image file use ghost is the way for me save me alot of time.

I have no problem with generals zero hour when ghosting. i use the same thing, a reg file changing the serials and copied a dat file.

Anybody?
