half life 2 DEMO install witout steam???

How can I install the half life 2 demo witout steam. I've got a verry bad connection so it take a lot of time to download the missing files to unlock the gfc files.

I don't think that demo versions could be cracked ,anyway you could try the Gizma Decrypter & MarkyMoo's patch.
