Modchip magic 3.1 wont boot

I installed the magic 3.1 +d9 modchip, but now games wont boot. When i start up, there is some bad sound (only from optical out.) and the playstation2 splashscreen apperars. Then the disk start to spin wery fast before it stops. The screen is black all the time.

How do i fix it?

Does your Originals still work ??

If they do try booting a CD-R media does this work ??

I have modded ps2's before which i thought the chip had not worked, but it was down to a poor laser, if this is the case the originals and CD-R's will run but DVD-R's will not.

If nothing works at all then I would make sure your installation is good.
