Wanted to know about backup online games

Sup peeps was curious to know what do i need to do in order to play ps2 backups online without dnas getting crabby? i remember there were certain thing su needed to do but i cant seem to find them anymore..so can someone help me out....thanks

This may be a dumb question to ask but how can i make that dnas utility disc? and correct me if im wrong but this disc would let me know the dnas serial of the original game? thanks for helping me out i appreciate it

There's a tutorial how to burn them. You need to burn it on a CD. http://www.mgforums.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1744

And the code is only given correct if you have an original game in there if you put in a backup in, there will only be random and useless numbers.

its cool i got it already i did the cd and i got the disc number from my original game....now whats next? what do i have to do exactly in order for this backup to work online? after this i think ill be fine thanks alot man

What was the second byte code of your ID? was it XX XX XX 30 XX? XX is random code always something different with every game.
The 30 is the region code there are about 4 region codes.
XX XX XX 10 XX is for Japan
XX XX XX 30 XX is for USA/Canada
XX XX XX 40 XX is for Europe and sometimes Australasia
XX XX XX 60 XX is for Australasia

I see you live in USA if the game is not imported it should give you 30.
Next thing you should do is Patch your image file with WinDIP v1.7 and the tutorial is there too so if you read that you're gonna be fine.

If you have an imported game there's something else you should do to your console to get that working. like changing your console ID number but i'm not going into it that much right now.

Thanks alot i appreciate your help everything worked fine except my burn isnt great i was doing espn 2k5 and it is kinda funky with sound and stuff....i did it with nero and i have always done it through nero but for some reason it isnt working with this one since this is my first time dealing with online games....ever experience this problem before?

It sometimes can be dodgy, but i use DVD Decrypter as i think it's more compatible with the patcher.

I am going to try it with dvd decrypter...reasonwhy i didnt before it was becuz i didnt know how to adjust the speed of the burn..i still dont know to be honest but does it matter?

it's automatic speed, i think. Because it's only made to read/write DVDs.
