XBOX modchips

I have been told when you chip an XBOX, it enables you to play PS2 games as well as Backup Xbox games.

Can anyone confirm if this is true, or i have i been wrongly advised.

Any help much appreciated.

LOL, yes that is very wrong. You can however play N64, nes, snes, gbc, arcade, games though:D
